Singapore
was a two day stay for the ship but because we didn’t return to the ship from
China until midnight of the first day in Singapore, we only had one day to see
Singapore. Our visits in Singapore
included the Peranakan Museum, a museum that nicely describes the mixed race Peranakan
or China Straits people of Singapore, their customs and culture.
We had a bit
of fun seeing the city from 500 plus feet in the air on the Singapore Flyer,
the largest ferris wheel in the world, 90 feet taller than, the London Eye.
Also, we had a drive through the city seeing the various sites. We returned to the ship after our morning
tour and then left the ship again to explore the city more via a cable car high
above the city.

Noteworthy
were our experiences getting on and off the ship in Singapore. To put it bluntly, an incredible amount of security coming and
going from and to the ship.
